Devyn Galindo (they/them) is a nonbinary Mexihkah transdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles | Tongva Tierra. Primary disciplines include photography, mixed media, and film making. They are fearlessly nomadic and often create work from the open road. Dancing between the physical and spiritual realms, Devyn’s body of work celebrates Queer, Trans, Brown and Black voices. Disrupting the white cis-heteronormative patriarchal lens has been the primary thread in Devyn’s work. “I want people to see the highest versions of themself through my work. That is how I see them, that's the spirit that I want to shine through”.

The Van Dykes Project aims to document queer elder and contemporary voices to preserve our own oral history for future generations, practicing activism through art. Inspired by the previous caravans of radical Van Dykes from the 70’s. This is a project to remember how to walk with intention upon the earth, with gratitude, with community, and oneness. Allowing your ancestors, plantitas, and mushrooms to be your guide. A gentle reminder that time is nonbinary and we have been here before.
